In Night Slashers: Remake, players must act as a hero as they fight off supernatural foes and terrifying monsters. In this game, you’ll defeat these enemies using your fists and a side-scrolling battle mechanic. As a player, you’re not just fighting here for your own survival, you’re also fighting to save the world from a supernatural apocalypse that can occur.
With its retro graphics, it’s the reimagined version of the ‘90s original Night Slasher game. Throughout the gameplay, you’ll face seven distinct stages that have multiple sections. Additionally, there are four characters that you can choose from: Jake Hunter, Christopher Smith, Hong Hua Zhao, and Liu Feilin. Moreover, it also provides two game modes: Custom Mode and Standard Arcade Mode.
In Custom Mode, you can personalize your playstyle based on your personal preferences as it offers a variety of game rules and modifiers. While in Standard Arcade Mode, you can face a big boss at the end of the stage. To progress in the game, you must master your combos, jump attacks, grappling moves, and running strikes. However, as this is a beat-’em-up game, it doesn’t offer a deep plotline.
